Partners for Parents
One-to-One Assistance
| There are many resources available that provide basic information about what it means to have dyslexia. Our Partners for Parents program is free and one of the few services in Minnesota that personally guides families of struggling readers to help them navigate the school system and advocate for their children.
Services include but are not limited to: one-to-one consultations, review of IEPs and evaluations, prep for IEP meetings, review parent concern letters and help draft conversations with the school. If you would like guidance in advocating for your student, please contact Partners for Parents; call or text 612-356-2707 or email keak@decodingdyslexiamn.org. (If you have sent an email and haven’t received a response in a timely manner, please check your junk email folder.) This is a free program available to families of struggling readers in Minnesota funded by a grant. |
